Mercurio Art Wall
Customers hang your prints true to size on a wall and buy the whole set in one go.
Get started
- Install the app from the Shopify App Store and open it in your admin.
- The guided setup reads your store: it finds the option that holds the size (for example
Sizewith values like50 x 70 cmorA2), the frame option and the image to show on the wall. Check what it found and adjust it. - Choose the language, rooms, design and functions. A live preview next to each setting shows the result.
- At the end the app can add a link to your main menu. The designer lives at
/apps/art-wall-designerin your store and uses your theme's header and footer.
Products and sizes
Show all products, one collection, or pick products by hand. For every product the designer needs a size in centimetres or a paper format (A0 to A4). Products without a readable size can get a size in Customize designer → Products. If a product image shows a mockup instead of the print itself, choose another image or set the motif metafield; Adjust motif lets you crop and move the motif.
Frame options are matched to frame styles (for example oak, black, white or no frame) so the wall shows the right frame.
Rooms and photos
Customers start in a sample room with real measurements or upload a photo of their own wall. On a computer they can scan a QR code and take the photo with their phone; it appears on the computer within seconds. They set the scale by entering the wall width or by marking an object of known size, such as a door.
You can add your own rooms with their width in centimetres. The photo a customer takes stays in their browser; a photo sent from the phone is deleted after pickup and after 20 minutes at most.
Design and texts
The designer takes on your theme. You can set colours, fonts, button shape and border, corner radius, alignment, width and spacing, and change every text. The storefront speaks English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Dutch, Portuguese and Swedish.
Set discounts
Reward bigger walls, for example 10 % from 3 pictures, 15 % from 5 and 20 % from 8. The app creates real Shopify discounts (automatic or with a code) and shows customers how many pictures are left to the next step. It also lists your other discounts and warns when they conflict, for example when a code would cancel a set discount.

Every paid plan can be tried free for 14 days, once per store. Yearly plans cost the same as 10 months (Atelier: 9). Shopify bills the plan on your Shopify invoice. When you move to a lower plan, your settings are kept.
Questions
The designer shows fewer products than I have.
Each plan has a poster limit, and products need a readable size. Check Customize designer → Products: it lists products that were skipped and lets you add their size.
A product appears in the wrong size.
The app reads the size from the variant option. Values like 50x70, 50 x 70 cm and A2 work. Inches are converted. If a value cannot be read, set the size by hand.
Does the app change my theme?
No. The designer is its own page in your store, served through a Shopify app proxy. Your theme files are not touched. Uninstalling removes the page.
What happens when I uninstall?
The designer page disappears and the plan ends. Before you uninstall, open Settings → Menu link in the app and click Remove from menu: after uninstalling, Shopify no longer lets the app change your menu, so a link left behind would lead nowhere. You can also remove it later in Shopify under Online Store → Navigation. Set discounts the app created stay in Shopify until you delete them. All app data for your store is deleted 48 hours after uninstalling.
Do my customers need an account?
No. The designer works without login. The last wall is saved in the customer's browser so they can continue later.
